1. What health guarantee do we offer?
As previously stated, we include a 2 year health guarantee for all congenital life threatening defects and anything genetic that we screened our dam and sire for. Most breeders only offer a 1 year guarantee or none at all. We feel this is not fair because issues typically arise between ages 1-2. Our parents are screened thoroughly and we don’t ever anticipate any issues. The health guarantee is mostly for your peace of mind. We stand behind our dams, sires and puppies in our program.
2. What is the temperament of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?
Their name says it all! They were bred to keep royalty company. They are eager to please you and they don’t have a mean bone in their body. They make a perfect dog for first-time puppy owners. They are phenomenal with kids, easily trainable, love to cuddle, and also will gladly play if you want to have some fun, do agility work, or go on special outings or trips. You will find they want to be a part of your family in most everything you do because they will love you in every way! They are known to be extremely sweet in nature. Because of this, they make the perfect companion, Emotional Support Animal, and therapy dogs.
3. Where are our puppies raised?
Our puppies are raised right here in our home with our family. They receive LOTS of love, attention, social training, and exposure to all types of situations through age-appropriate stimulation.
4. What health testing do we do on our dams and sires?
We run genetic panels screenings for all breed related genetic diseases and more. Our dogs are taken to specialists for their Orthopedic Foundation for Animals tests and Pennhip as well. These are not a simple vet visit! These tests go above and beyond the normal evaluations done, to include an in-depth testing with different specialists at each evaluation. They must receive their breed specific certifications before being bred.
5. If I can no longer care for the puppy/dog, will you take it back?
Yes, we not only will take the puppy back but it’s written in our contract that if there is any reason you need to re-home the puppy/dog you must return the dog to us and no one else. Part of being a responsible breeder means never allowing any of our dogs to be surrendered to a shelter. We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen in life and sometimes families can no longer take care of their dog. We won’t shame or judge you if you feel you need to return the dog for personal reasons. Please see our contract for more additional information.
6. Do we offer shipping?
We do not believe dogs, especially puppies should ever be shipped in the cargo section of a plane. However, we do offer amazing and experienced flight nannies that know how to travel with new puppies the right way! They take precious care of your puppy and never allow their paws to touch the ground at the airports or anywhere along their travels. This keeps them away from unnecessary illnesses. They tend to their needs giving food, water, safety, and love the entire trip. They travel all over the United States. We also try to accommodate travel outside the United States.
7. How do deposits work?
We take deposits at anytime to reserve your spot. Deposits are non-refundable. However, if for whatever reason the dam does not get pregnant or a puppy passes you will have the option to receive the full deposit back or transfer to another litter. Puppy picks are done in order of deposits received.
8. Do we require spay/neutering?
Yes. We have a very detailed Puppy Purchase Agreement (contract) stating they must be fixed. Breeding rights are occasionally offered through an application process.
